Engineers Australia (EA)

Four occupational categories are acknowledged by Engineers Australia for skilled migration:

1. Professional engineer
2. Engineering technologist
3. Engineering associate
4. Engineering manager

Your work in Australia will be designated within one of these occupational categories, depending on your qualifications and skills.

1. Determine the appropriate assessment pathway based on your qualification, considering:
   • Country of qualification
   • Type of qualification
   • Accreditation status (accredited qualifications are recognised under agreements like the Washington Accord, Sydney Accord, and Dublin Accord).
2. Verify your qualification's accreditation using the qualification checker on the International Engineering Alliance website.
3. If your qualification is listed in Engineers Australia’s accredited programs, you can apply directly through the Australian qualifications pathway.
